19 year old shot at Zimmerman Park in Norwalk on Wednesday night

Norwalk Sheriff’s officials are investigating a shooting on Wednesday night at Zimmerman Park at around 9 p.m. in which a 19-year-old male Hispanic was shot at least once in buttocks.
The victim was transported to the University of California at Irvine Medical Center and underwent surgery.
Norwalk Sheriff’s Captain Pat Maxwell confirmed the incident to Los Cerritos Community Newspaper early Thursday morning in an email.
