Bomb Squad converges on Long Beach Court Building
*** UPDATE ***
The Bomb Squad has determined the unattended item did not contain explosives. The building has resumed normal operations and the streets are no longer closed.
Long Beach Police Officers are assisting the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department with an unattended item at Long Beach Court 415 W. Ocean.
The building has been evacuated and LASD bomb squad is enroute to assist. The surrounding streets have been shut down for emergency vehicles.
Los Cerritos Community Newspaper will have additional details as developments warrant.
