Eric Yee: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Arrest Suspect for Making Terrorist Threats

Santa Clarita Sheriff Station Detectives are now releasing the name of the suspect arrested for allegedly posting on an internet blog site that he was watching kids and did not mind murdering them. Eric Yee, a 21 year old male from Santa Clarita, Ca. was arrested yesterday on Monday at approximately 5:00 pm on the charge of making criminal threats.

Yee is being held at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station in lieu of $ 1,000,000 bail.

The suspect is alleged to have posted threats against children on an ESPN internet site. “The Internet service providers at one of the ESPN sites were very good and acted diligently in contacting police,” Sgt. Darren Harris said.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station personnel are continuing their investigation into this incident. There is no indication at this point that there were any other suspects involved. Deputies are increasing patrols and visibility around all our local schools and School Resource Deputies are working closely with school administrators to address concerns. All classes and school schedules are in session. Investigators are not aware of any additional threats or concerns regarding any of our schools.

This case is expected to be presented to the Los Angeles County Districts Attorney’s Office tomorrow morning.
