BREAKING NEWS: 605/60 Freeways reopened after nitrogen tanks fall from truck
Update: All lanes of the eastbound 60 Freeway have been reopened after the closure at around 1:50 p.m., according to information obtained from the California Highway Patrol.

A truck containing nitrogen tanks has been involved in an incident that has resulted in the closure of the 605 and 60 Freeways in Whittier.
The leak appears to be at the rear of the tanker.
California Highway Patrol is on the scene.
The incident was reported shortly before 1 p.m.
Los Cerritos Community Newspaper will continue to have updates throughout the afternoon.
