"On the case and subsequent arrest of LA County Assessor John Noguez-your publication gave us information that was invaluable. Great job!"
LA D.A. Steve Cooley 10/19/12
Los Cerritos Community Newspaper Group was the only media outlet in Southern California to film the resignation of embattled Santa Fe Springs City Councilman Joseph Serrano, Sr.
Serrano resigned from office Thursday night before a stunned and silent standing room only crowd.
In a tearful announcement during the city council meeting, Serrano said that he would be leaving office effective July 31st. Serrano has agreed to plead guilty in connection to a major federal bribery case that involves the accepting thousands of dollars in cash bribes from the operator of a marijuana dispensary doing business in the tiny industrial community.
Filmed by Randy Economy and Los Cerritos Community Newspaper.

Subscribe to the Press Telegram, they like me……Do not read the LCCN, they write the truth…..what is the word that starts with an “A”—Alondra? DA not prosecute, you must know the entire story as NOT reported by the PT, you can find an accurate record in LCCN.
