A female adult has been shot and killed in Lakewood on Maybank Avenue on Tuesday night.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives were dispatched to the 4100 block of Maybank Avenue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female adult. Lakewood Sheriff Department officials received a call about the incident at 6:47 p.m.
The location of the incident is near the intersection of Carson Street and Paramount Boulevard.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
