‘Gangland’ Featured Indicted FBI Figure Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow on History Channel

By Brian Hews
Just 24 hours after he was named as a prime suspect in a “murder for hire plot” by members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, San Francisco gang leader Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow has become one of the most talked about public figures on talk radio shows up and down California.

Chow, 53, was arrested as a central figure in a complex case that also snared popular State Senator Leland Yee, a Democrat from the Bay Area. Yee was charged with felony corruption and conspiracy to traffic weapons.
Now, Chow has become a “trending” subject on Twitter, and last year the History Channel aired a “Gangland” segment on his lift in the rough and tumble area of Chinatown.
Chow says in the one hour program, “I run this city” and “I did time with Charles Manson, good friend of mine.”
