Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man that was engulfed in flames on Thursday, October 31, 2013, during a Halloween Carnival on Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
“Detectives are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of death. They are asking for the public’s assistance to determine the source of the ignition, or how the victim became engulfed in flames,” said a statement to members of the media on Sunday. The name of the victim has not been released.

Does ANYONE OUT THERE have the NAME of the man who died in this horrific situation. I live in WE HO and was there that night, and saw all of the EMERGENCY workers on Santa Monica.
