Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department issued an alert on Friday morning in the attempt to apprehend and arrest Israel Itehua, a 20-year old gang member, is a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a mother of two children in Bellflower back in 2012.
In a statement to members of the media, the victim of Itehua is not related to the suspect and she suffered a gunshot wound that has left her paralyze
d from the chest down.
The Attempted Murder crime took place in the 15700 block of Eucalyptus Avenue in the city of Bellflower at 12:50 am back on February 11, 2012.
Israel Lorenzo Itehua is a “known gang member,” Male Hispanic, 5’09”, 160lbs, Black hair/Brown eyes. Itehua has two visible tattoos on his arms: The word “UNO” on his right arm, and “OCHO” on his left arm.
Suspect Itehua has frequented the communities of Bellflower, Norwalk, Pomona and Rialto.
Law enforcement officials point out that Itehua is considered to be “Armed and Dangerous.”
