An Orange County doctor has been arrested on multiple charges of possessing child pornography on his computer.
On Tuesday, Dr. Pete Thomas of Coastline Podiatry in Santa Ana was arrested by Santa Ana Police officers after more than 1,000 images of child pornography and data that was linked to the well known doctor.
“Santa Ana Police were made aware of child pornography images on a doctor’s computer after a technician discovered the images while servicing the company computers. The doctor’s computer was seized,” said a statement from the SAPD.
Dr. Thomas was booked into the Santa Ana jail for possession of child porn.
As of Tuesday evening, there is no indication that the doctor met any of the children but the investigation is ongoing.
