The California Highway Patrol is pursuing a vehicle in the San Gabriel Valley area Wednesday morning.
Authorities initiated the chase off the 62 Freeway in Joshua Tree about 9:15 a.m. Officers were making a traffic stop when the driver took off, officials said.

Like to see State Proposition or Measure, on next ballot, to stop the chases. Chases can permanently injury many innocent units which come in contact with these hi speed chases.
I see no value in pursuing hi speed chases, at the risk of killing others, like we had few decades ago in city of La Palma.
Chase brings no financial gain to the insurance industry.
