A Long Beach civilian police employee was arrested allegedly taking photos and videos of other men in a restroom at work, Long Beach police reported yesterday.
Sergio Nieto, 28, of Downey, has been suspended from his job.
Investigators said another employee saw suspicious activity in the second-floor men’s restroom at the Public Safety Building on Broadway who then told his supervisor.
Detectives discovered that Nieto had been photographing and videotaping other employees in the restroom, he was arrested and booked on suspicion of recording other men without their knowledge by the Signal Hill police to avoid any conflict with LBPD.
Nieto was jailed and was slapped with a $25,000 bail, he is set to appear in court July 25 in Long Beach.
