Adidas held its ribbon cutting this week at the Los Cerritos Center.

The new store had the unofficial soft opening summer of 2015.

The Cerritos Regional Chamber of Commerce presided over the ribbon cutting. In classic style, refreshments etched with the adidas logo were served along with a generous 15% discount gift card.

Adidas produces more than 660 million product units every year and generates sales of more than $14.5 billion.

“We think you deserve choice,” says Herbert Hainer, CEO of the Adidas Group, “We believe no one should be reduced to just one of many facets and talents. No matter whether you are an athlete looking for the best equipment, or a fashionista searching for the next trend, we have you covered.”

  • Yellow House says:

Construction progression in Los Cerritos Mall, sure is moving at snail pace. Cheesecake factory is too small and upscale restaurant class is absent. Is Nordstrom trying to give birth to upscale Sears? Macie’s is more like shopping at Target Greatland. Theater completion will be great, but can the 605 ramps, handle both the auto mall and the theater groups traffic. None of the mall has tried to duplicate Bullocks Wilshire. Just waiting for pedestrian death on 183rd, crossing between malls. 183rd Street needs over head cross walk or shuttle bus service, connecting the 2 malls. I miss the big Yellow House.

Cerritos is not an athletic city, when was the last time we saw snow skiis or surfboards on roof of Kia. See no fishing poles or guns inside of Mercedes too….. Most Speedo swimsuits, would fall off buttless residents in the city. So Why: Sports Authority, Dicks Sporting Goods and Big 5, Golf Depot, burned out on sporting good stores. ( Kind of store cannibalism ) Is this the best usage for our mall, I ask the city planners?

  • Rossmoor says:

Why can’t Cerritos have a nice clean grocery store, all of our grocery stores look like flea markets found in Tijuana. How come Rossmore has a very elegant and well stocked Ralphs market, all we have here in Cerritos are dirty-half stocked markets: Ralphs-Stater Brothers?

Too much money is leaving Cerritos, for grocery shopping in Cypress and Rossmoor.

Adj. to Los Cerritos Mall, we need a classy, clean and modern Grocery Shopping Center.
