Several media outlets are reporting that after 50 years the Pennysaver laid off all its workers and is going out of business.
Workers at Pennysaver say they were abruptly laid off.
Always wondered how long the penny saver would stay in circulation, I did not like the format of articles. Does anyone know who the parent company was? Was their a CEO death or filing BK. How many states was this published in?
Craigslist, Ebay, Amazon chewed up the Pennysaver.
Pennysaver was very expensive for ads, each city was made up of zones for paid advertising.
