We are pleased to announce that Filipino-American singer-songwriter and actor Martin Nievera has joined the lineup for Society of Seven With Special Guests in a Benefit Concert for the Philippines. The host of the popular Filipino musical variety show ASAP, Nievera boasts 18 Platinum albums, including Martin…Take One, The Best Gift, and Forever.
Nievera has dazzled crowds worldwide with his signature hit On the Right Track and his own adaptations of Broadway tunes and movie and soap-opera theme songs. He has appeared in 11 movies and seven television series and specials.
Proceeds for the City of Cerritos-sponsored concert will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid Typhoon Haiyan victims. The lineup also features the critically acclaimed troupe Society of Seven, Filipino R&B and Soul songbird Lhey Bella, and award-winning Filipino Folk and Pop singer Nonoy Zuñiga.
The event takes place at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Thursday, December 19, 7:00 PM. Tickets cost $150, $100, $75, and $50. Eighty percent of the cost is tax deductible.
