Location of incident being reported in Compton on Friday night.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are en route to Saint Francis Hospital, 3628 East Imperial Highway, Lynwood to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man and the wounding of another. The men were fired upon and injured by unknown suspect(s) on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the 600 Block of West Peach Street, Compton.
The victims were transported to Saint Francis Hospital where one of the victims died today as a result of his injuries.
The second victim was treated for non-fatal injuries. There is no further information available at this time.
