A youth ice skating coach with ties to local rinks in the Artesia, Norwalk and Lakewood area has been arrested on several counts of molestation.
Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrested 29-year-old Suspect Donald Vincent, a youth ice skating coach, at his Torrance home on Friday by Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau.
Law enforcement officials are claiming that Vincent allegedly molested a boy while the coach lived in Hacienda Heights.
Suspect Vincent has been coaching youth ice skaters for the past seven years at various ice skating rinks in the Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange County areas, including the East/West Ice Palace in Artesia; Glacial Gardens in Lakewood; Norwalk Ice in Norwalk that is now closed to the public; Paramont Iceland in Paramount; Skating Edge Ice Arena in Harbor City; Anaheim Ice in Anaheim, and Ice Town in Riverside.
The East/West Ice Palace is the home of former World Champion Michele Kwan.
“The information came to light in December 2012 when the now 17-year old victim told a friend at a youth camp, who then told another person. They then encouraged the victim to report the abuse. The victim told sheriff’s investigators that he was repeatedly molested by his skating coach at the coach’s Hacienda Heights home, when he was between the ages of 12 to 15,” said Lieutenant Carlos Marquez of the Special Victims Bureau.
Vincent was arrested on felony child molestation charges at his home in Torrance on January 11 and is currently incarcerated with a bail set at $1,000,000.00.
On Monday, January 14, 2013 at Pomona Superior Court, the suspect was charged with three felony counts by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The charges include: One count of 288.5(a) CA Penal Code, Continuous Lewd Acts With a Minor, and two counts of 288(c)(1) CA Penal Code, Lewd Acts with a Minor, Ages 14 or 15.

according to our laws….you are guilty until proven innocent in any accusation of child molestation. regardless what the judge says in court. you do not need witnesses, just accusers and you do not need evidence. the penalty is life without parole same as charles manson.
