The Rio Hondo College Board of Trustees have appointed Theresa Dreyfus as Interim Superintendent/President during a meeting on Wednesday night.
Dreyfus has been the longest service Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of the college.
Trustee Gary Mendez said that Dreyfus “has kept Rio Hondo fiscally sound amid austere state budget cuts and is well respect by all the constituent groups on campus and the board.”
Dreyfus will take over for President Ted Martinez, Jr. who announced that he is resigning from the educational institution at the end of this school year.
