Norwalk Sheriff’s hunt for Douglas Burgers crime suspect

By Brian Hews

Norwalk Sheriff’s are searching for a suspect who is responsible for the theft of two pricy items from a customer who was dining at a local Pioneer Boulevard hamburger stand.

The alleged crime took place on April 25 at the Douglas Burger’s located on Pioneer and 163rd Street.

In a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the victim, who has not been publicly named, ordered food and then sat in a booth and placed his wallet and IPod on top of the table.

The suspect walked up to the table and took the victim’s property and ran out of the location, but his image was captured by security cameras inside the eatery.

He is described as a male Hispanic, with brown hair and black eyes, standing 5’10”, 150 lbs., between 20 and 25 years of age.  He was seen wearing a white tank top, black jeans, and has a tattoo of the sun on his left shoulder.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Norwalk Sheriff’s Department at 562 863-8711.
